The KEDAAR society of performing arts, named on the name of Legendary Tabla player Pt. Kedar Nath ji, is a society that aims at promoting seniors as well as upcoming artists from various fields of performing arts. It is run by his daughter Mrs. Pratibha Sharma, who is an accomplished Kathak dancer and a disciple of Smt. Geetanjali Lal Ji. The society also conducts the Tabla and Kathak classes in Delhi, striving to bring talented fresh artists in their respective fields. The society also holds it’s annual event series ‘ARAMBH’ to showcase accomplished artists as well as give a platform to the young and upcoming ones.
ARAMBH is a festival organised by KEDAAR society to promote the Indian culture not only nationally but worldwide. They feature not only the established artists but also the young generations in the field of classical music and dance. It's aim is to promote Indian culture and also to bring up the new and dynamic faces in every field of music and dance.
